We need to address the Hall Monitoring for this Season

I understand from a vantage point that it's sometimes hard to understand the implications of a task and that CC's may interpret them in a slightly different way than intended. It's important to know when they succeed or fail a task, HOWEVER...!

We have to remember that they are also adults, that they're the ones making the entertainment here. We have to remember that the reason they're even doing this is because they want us viewers to have a good time and a good laugh. They're doing this for US

We gotta step back and remember that they are capable and can handle these kinds of situations themselves. It's not just the public stuff that we see uploaded that paints the whole picture here. They also have off camera interactions with each other during these sessions that don't come to light, and we, as the audience, have to TRUST them that they can keep themselves and each other accountable on these things.

They don't need 1K+ people daily on each life video to nitpick and/or clarify what they did differently than intended. They don't need 100+ people to say that they failed the task over and over, drowning the other 100+ comments talking about what their favorite part of the video was or how said video probably made their day. They Don't Need all of this Stress

This series is amazing. The CC's are amazing. Please let's not stress them out with all of the constant nit-picking. They're people too. They have feelings as well. Let's try and remember the boundaries and respect them.

many people think percy and annabeth wouldn’t get married. that’s fine! but i disagree. in fact i think the exact opposite!

you know how when some people get married, they say things like “it’s been a bit rough” or “it’s definitely an adjustment.” understandably so, because it’s a big change for some people. in fact, a very large portion of divorces happen within the first 1-2 years marriage. makes sense. marriage is a big deal.

but i feel like annabeth and percy are those people that just LOVE marriage. the concept, the realities, even just the word “married”. and i don’t mean in the way that they’re so disgustingly lovey dovey and saying it’s so “rewarding” and “beautiful.” well i mean… they are very in love, but i just mean that they are two best friends who are now legally binded to each other. they are literally living their dream. so i feel like for them, it would be more “dude marriage is SO fun! we stay up late, and watch movies, and eat food, and do ✨whatever we want✨ and then we sleep till 11 and wake up and do ✨whatever we want.✨ and we’re together all the time and no one questions it. marriage is the best.” even though in my head, they are in their early 20s and have been grown adults living together for years. but they just think marriage in itself is so fun. paying for things? with their SHARED card. retirement benefits of their jobs? SHARED. taxes? SHARED. and imagine if annabeth decides she wants to share the name of percy and sally, her two favorite people on earth, and changes her last name to jackson? those two… with the same last name? they are riding SUCH a high. the two of them, especially annabeth, would take EVERY opportunity to say “the jacksons”

like imagine them just being the biggest marriage enthusiasts and going around telling all their couple friends to get married lol. they are so cute

and to anyone who’s about to say something about hera:

no chance, ZERO CHANCE, that percy jackson and annabeth chase are letting a goddess, and hera of all people, dictate their lives in ANY way. even if it’s to “boycott her”. no. she doesn’t even get to be somewhat related to their marriage in their minds. if they want to get married, they’ll get married dammit! screw hera

Alright, so this is basically...an art dump for all the pics i drew when i was trying to draft the ending i wanted my Odile looping Au 'Like a Wheel Ever Turning' which...is not even SLIGHTLY how this fic is going to end now, but while figuring that out i still like draw all this and had to do SOMETHING with it.

So figured I'd post it and be like 'hey! fun Odile looping act 5 boss fight vibes not connected to anything else!' since like...that basic IS what they are at this point lol.

The one cool idea i loved that i think is now FIRMLY ditched is the act 5 boss fight starts when Odile uses wish craft to splinter herself into two halves.

The 'old/current' her that is meant to be her coldly logical side, and a younger 'copy' version, which is meant to be the childish irrational side...that is what's stopping her just shutting down the time loop because she can't figure out how to be happy with her friends leaving.

I mean, if you murder the part of you that WANTS the wish to come true, that's basically a 'get out of time loop free card' right? Right! Totally sound logic!

Yes the 'young' version of her firmly believes that she's real, and also also got memories going up to about age 21, and also that she ought to be in Ka Bue not HERE among these french weirdos.

Also yes again, a 'young' Odile is EXACTLY as unhinged about this as you'd expect a 21 year old to be upon finding out that apparently the 'real' her think murdering her is the correct solution to this problem!

The shift of the fight was meant to have the inverse 'colors' shift from one version to the other by the end, wrapping up with the point where the 'original' Odile is forced to have a heart to heart with the personification of her perceived 'worst' qualities.

Pretty sure the vibes for this ending was a lot more focused on the resolution of having deeply complex feeling about EXPRESSING emotion directly to other people. That along with a side helping of how isolating it is to be perceived as a 'real' adult such that you can't be weak enough to ask anyone for help. Because really if you can't even be that then why are you any different then when you were irritating mess of a youth?

Not saying any of that isn't still present in the story, but like...there is a LOT of other stuff going on, and those themes are now linked into many other ones too, and that's not even TOUCHING on how Loop's been...somewhat complicating my redrafting lol.

...Also I might have drawn/plotted this version before i knew about two-hats lol. THAT also is a factor.

Anyway! Still liked all of these enough to want to do SOMETHING with them, and figured this worked, so i could like map out my thoughts on them, even if i never got to write this.

the eric carter series was mentioned a couple of times, AND had the added bonus of having a necromancer for a main character. I love necromancers. someday I'm gonna play one in a game instead of immediately defaulting to vampires.

oh he's furious about it. no way around it, he's incredibly angry that his name, his face, his legacy is being used to hurt his people.

he dedicated his entire life to guide and protect cybertron along his family, being a guardian to those under their care and died trying to end a war that threatened to destroy their world.

and now someone is using him as a symbol for a group that thinks being stronger gives them the right to oppress those weaker than them. to start a war they'd rather destroy their planet for than lose. his name will forever now be tainted and linked to the destruction of their world.

he's pissed. but also hurt and mournful for the way his memory is being used.

as for his t-cog... he tries not to think too much about it. because if his name and face was already bad enough, knowing that one of his own components, a literal part of himself, is being used to hurt others... it's pretty rough.

he hates that his strength and power, the ones he used to protect and care for his people, keep being taken by others to use to harm the world and people he died trying to keep safe.

at one point during the war, he considers asking optimus to destroy his t-cog if he ever has the opportunity. to just. stop it from causing more harm. he doesn't, but only because he knows it would pain optimus to do this in more ways than one. but. it's constantly on the back of his mind.

every time megatron hurts someone, every time he destroys a little bit more of their world, every time he commits more damage that threatens to become irreparable... he knows it is his strength, his power, that he's using to do it. and it weights on him like little else does.
